10 Things I Love About MEP

  1. The furniture. I know, I know, people always complain about the furniture. But it’s so COZY
  2. The carpet. I spilled a whole bottle of Tide Detergent in my room. Sure, I cleaned it up, but you can’t even tell what happened, and my room smells like clean laundry. It’s a win-win situation.
  3. The toilet stalls. They’re always so fun, or enlightening, or challenging. Going to the bathroom is always an adventure.
  4. MEPPY Christmas and March Gladness. What creative names.
  5. MEP lobby. Yes, I get annoyed with the couples, but my life wouldn’t be the same without them. They’ve completely change the way that I study, because when I’m in the lobby, I’m so scared to look up that I’m forced to study! And sometimes, people watch good movies, like She’s the Man in there. YES.
  6. Um, the residents. Such crazy cool people live in MEP.
  7. How confusing the architecture is. I’m not going to lie, I still get confused when I’m on duty. I can never figure out how to get to the third floor.
  8. The Noises. I’m not sure what exactly is going on with my heater, but it makes noises that completely blow my mind. It’s like a lullaby.
  9. The boiler room. It’s dark and scary, and sometimes makes noises, but it’s always AWESOME.
  10. The RAs + Esther. What a special group of people. Staff meetings are always so wild, and I always enjoy the crazy highs/lows, stories from the week, talking about Diva Cups, and more. I love the RAs. A lot.
